One Vanderbilt
Sustainable design in action. Wellness elements like natural light, quality air, and thermal comfort were integral components in the creation of this revolutionary new skyscraper, a Class-A office experience for tenants, visitors, and the local community. One Vanderbilt offers tenants not only the flexibility to adjust to the needs of a changing workforce, but superior building features and amenities including:
- LEED Certification.
- WELL Certification.
- A 30,000-square foot amenity floor with healthy food offerings.
- A conference center.
- Indoor air quality that will surpass the ASHRAE 62.1 standard by 30%.
- Quality water ensured by enhanced filtration.
- 85% of tenant floor area with premier access to daylighting through floor-to-ceiling windows.
- Movement, physical activity, and active living promoted through design strategies.
- Maximum comfort ensured through HVAC system design and acoustical parameters.
All told, One Vanderbilt will have one of the smallest carbon footprints of buildings with similar density and scale in the city.
LEED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
With 15 million LEED-certified square feet in its portfolio, SL Green has made a real impact on the environment. Our LEED volume efforts reduced energy consumption by 760,000 kilowatt-hours in 2018, equivalent to 560 metric tons of CO2 avoided per building or:
