Sustainable design in action. Wellness elements like natural light, quality air, and thermal comfort were integral components in the creation of this revolutionary new skyscraper, a Class-A office experience for tenants, visitors, and the local community. One Vanderbilt offers tenants not only the flexibility to adjust to the needs of a changing workforce, but superior building features and amenities including:

- Indoor air quality that will surpass the ASHRAE 62.1 standard by 30%.

All told, One Vanderbilt features $17 million in sustainability features that go above and beyond New York City code requirements and will have one of the smallest carbon footprints of buildings with similar density and scale in the city.
With 15 million LEED-certified square feet in its portfolio, SL Green has made a real impact on the environment. Our LEED volume efforts reduced energy consumption by 760,000 kilowatt-hours in 2018, equivalent to 560 metric tons of CO2 avoided per building or:
